Kaleb Cook, the Oswego State men's basketball won the 2021 Max Ziel Tournament with a 63-48 victory over Hobart College. Cook was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player and was joined on the All-Tournament Team by senior
Julien Crittendon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hobart scored the opening three of the game before Oswego went on a 16-0 over the next eight minutes.
- Cook and sophomore Jeremiah Sparks had 14 of the 16 points during the run.
- The teams played even for the rest of the half with the Lakers taking a 35-20 lead into the half.
- Oswego pushed the lead to 21 on a jumper by Ahkee Anderson three minutes into the second half.
- The Statesmen closed it to 11 with under three minutes to play, but Oswego hit their free throws and played solid defense to secure the win.
- Sparks finished with 15 points and four assists and Jamal Achille chipped in with nine.
- Louis Fedullo led the Lakers with eight rebounds with Sparks had six.
