GENESEO, N.Y. - Geneseo, ranked #13 nationally, brought the Oswego State women's lacrosse team's three-game win streak to a halt with a 22-9 victory over the Lakers. The Knights used two separate 6-0 runs to gain separation after Oswego closed to within two goals early in the second half.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Geneseo opened the game on an early 6-0 run through the first eight minutes.
- Sophomore Sela Wiley broke the run and goals from Kamryn Sherman, Shae McConnell and Logan Castiglione closed the lead to 8-4 with eleven minutes remaining in the first half.
- Wiley and freshman Isabella Lembo scored goals to keep the deficit at four at the half, 10-6.
- Quick goals by freshman Julia Quirk and Sherman in the first three minutes of the second half looked to give the Lakers momentum.
- It was all Geneseo from there as they finished on a 12-1 run.
- The Knights doubled up Oswego in shots-on goal (33-16) and draw controls (22-11).
- Wiley and Castiglione led Oswego with two goals and one assist each.
- Delaney Kendrick made 11 saves in net for Oswego.
