Samantha Morgan each blasted a pair of homeruns on the day to lead the Lakers past Buffalo State in conference doubleheader action. Oswego evens their overall (4-4) and conference (3-3) records on the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1
- Oswego used homeruns in each of the first three innings to take a commanding 7-2 lead through three innings.
- Junior Zoe Mennig continued her amazing start to the season with two homeruns and a triple in her first three plate appearances.
- Samantha Morgan and Fiona Higgins also connected on four-baggers for the Lakers.
- Singles by Taylor DuBois, Leah Czerwinski and Morgan also helped generate a run for Oswego.
- Higgins (1-1) pitched the complete game and struck out five for her first collegiate win.
Game 2
- The second game had an explosive beginning with both teams putting six runs on the board.
- Oswego's scoring was highlighted by a DuBois double and Morgan's second homerun of the day, a three-run shot.
- The Bengals would eventually take a 7-6 lead into the fifth inning before another double from DuBois, single from freshman Ellie Mahoney and RBI-sacrifice by Czerwinski would tie it up.
- In the sixth, a single from Madelana Wrubel and sacrifice from Madison Hoeflich would move a runner into scoring position.
- Mennig would deliver the RBI-single and advance to second on the throw home. DuBois would follow with her own RBI-single to plate Mennig to conclude the Laker scoring.
- Morgan went three innings, yielding only a pair of earned runs and striking out two.
- Hoeflich (2-2) came on in relief and pitched four innings of one-hit ball to earn the win.
