OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's Lacrosse team concluded their season this afternoon with a 20-3 defeat to nationally-ranked Geneseo at Laker Turf Field.  Freshman Isabella Lembo led the Lakers with a pair of goals.  Prior to the contest, the team recognized seniors Kamryn Sherman and Lynsey Roth.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• It was all Geneseo in the first half as the Knights' defense corralled the Laker offense to the tune of a 16-4 shots-on-goal advantage.
• The visitors ran off the first 13 goals in building a comfortable lead.
• After an opening goal by Geneseo to the second half, Lembo tried to grab momentum back with two goals, her second with 25 minutes left to play.
• Fellow freshman Shae McConnell added a third tally a few minutes later for the Lakers, but Geneseo clamped down from there.
• The Knights limited Oswego to just seven shots-on-goal in the contest and held a slight 14-10 edge in draw controls.
• Oswego collected more groundballs in the contest by a 22-21 margin.
