BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Oneonta, second seed in the Eastern Division, upset the Oswego State women's tennis team to advance to the State University of New York Athletic Conference Championship match. Oswego came in as the top-seeded team in the SUNYAC's Western Division after recording a 3-1 conference mark during the regular season.

- At First Doubles, Oswego's top team of senior Bridget Bender and junior Miryam Makutonin fell by a score of 8-5.
- Oneonta prevailed at Second Doubles over Jenny Lapp and Jenna Wilson, 8-1.
- Debora Win and Alexandra Sperling were taken down at Third Doubles at love.
- Oneonta won matches at First Singles (6-1, 6-0) and Third Singles (6-0, 6-0) to advance.
- The Lakers were making their first playoff appearance in the last four years.
