OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's soccer team were defeated by the RIT Tigers this afternoon by a score of 2-0. The match was a defensive battle for the Lakers, with only four shots on goal throughout for both teams.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Rochester started the first half attacking the Lakers defensive zone. Lucas of the Tigers at 4:06 ripped a shot that was snagged by Goalkeeper Brian Terra to keep the game scoreless.
- Oswego defended three corners in a row, ranging from 11:05-12:28 of the first half.
- Going into the second half the board remained scoreless.
- RIT held the advantage in corner kicks in the first half 5-1.
- With many chances from the Tigers, Oswego turned them away for the majority of the second half, keeping the game 0-0.
- The Lakers held the Tigers to only three shots on goal throughout.
- At the 81:37 mark the Tigers broke the tie which proved to be the game-winner.
- Less than a minute later, the Tigers struck again giving them the 2-0 lead and ultimately the victory.
