OSWEGO, N.Y. – Despite wins at doubles and singles by
Jessica DuPont, the Oswego State women's tennis team lost a close 5-4 decision to the Cardinal of St. John Fisher College on Sunday afternoon at the Romney Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- St. John Fisher slipped past Oswego's top doubles team of Miryam Makutonin and Alyx Sperling by an 8-6 score.
- At Second Doubles, Jenna Wilson and Debora Win fell by an 8-1 decision.
- DuPont and Mattie Wallace notched the Lakers' first point with an 8-6 win at Third Doubles.
- Rafaela Dimitrakopoulou and Anabel Greenberg each won by 6-1, 6-4 scores at Fifth and Sixth Singles, respectively.
- DuPont was victorious by scores of 6-1 and 6-3.
- St. John Fisher defeated Wilson at Second Singles and Sperling at Third Singles.
- In the top singles match, Makutonin split the first two sets 6-4 and 7-6 before falling in the tie-breaker 7-1.
