HOW IT HAPPENED

Oswego drew a penalty just one minute and forty seconds into the first period, 14 seconds later Chyne Kennedy scored the first Laker goal against her former team.

After multiple shots and saves by the Mustangs goaltender, Morgan Shines scored on the powerplay at the 8:18 mark of the first period. Simone Bednarik and Haas assisted the Lakers second goal.

Oswego held the offensive zone pressure throughout the rest of the period, putting 19 shots on the board, all being on net.

Oswego's transition defense shined through, only allowing Morrisville three shots on goal in the period.

Morrisville won the first period faceoff battle six to nine.

The first ten minutes and twenty-five seconds went scoreless, Haas scored her first of the contest, Kyrkostas assisted. This goal came on the powerplay.

Just three minutes later, deja vu, Haas scored again, with an assist accredited to Kyrkostas.

With 5:16 remaining in the third, McAleer added her own goal on the powerplay, giving the Lakers a 6-0 advantage.

At 15:07 of the third period, Hudon added her second goal of the contest, assisted by Mia Conboy, her second of the year.

Oswego added their fourth and final goal of the third period with 3:41 remaining to give them the comfortable 8-0 victory.

Oswego's final goal came from the stick of Bednarik, assisted by Kyrkostas and Haas.
