ROCHESTER, N.Y.
– Led by three wins each from seniors Matt Rolph and Grace Parente, the Oswego State swimming and diving programs won a pair of dual meets at Roberts Wesleyan College on Saturday.

THE BASICS
  • Final Scores:      Oswego Men's S&D 153, Fredonia 68; Oswego 163, Roberts Wesleyan 78
                                       Oswego Women's S&D 127, Fredonia 101; Oswego 149, Roberts Wesleyan 74
  • Location:  Voller Athletic Center, Rochester, N.Y.
  • Records:  Oswego Men 4-3; Oswego Women 3-4
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Parente has been a part of seven event wins this week with her victories today in the 200-yard medley relay, 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard butterfly.
  • Classmate Allegra Neglia joined Parente in the 200-yard medley relay and won the 200-yard backstroke.
  • Senior Eva Potvin also won a pair of events, taking first in the 100-yard breaststroke and was in the successful medley relay squad.
  • Other event winners include senior Jess Azoulay (1-meter diving) and freshmen Alexia Lemus (200-yard medley relay) and Fion Hon (200-yard IM).
  • On the men's side, senior Matt Rolph took part in two successful relays (400-yard freestyle & 200-yard medley relay) and won the 100-yard backstroke.
  • Fellow senior Nate Einstein was first in the 1,000-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly.
  • Freshman Simon Daw showed off his diversity with wins in the 200-yard IM and 200-yard breaststroke after dominating the freestyle swims midweek while joining Rolph in both winning relays.
  • Other multiple event winners were Raymond Paull (200-yard medley relay & 100-yard breastroke) and Matthew Seyse (400-yard freestyle relay & 50-yard freestyle).
  • Single event winners for the men were Erick Zizic (400-yard freestyle relay), Eric Dzierzgowski (1-meter diving), and Ajani Isles (200-yard medley relay).
WHAT'S NEXT
The Laker divers are scheduled for a meet of their own on Sunday at 10 a.m. hosted by Ithaca College.
