OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Men's Hockey team hosted the Elmira Soaring Eagles this evening. The Lakers had an impressive performance, earning their first win of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Lakers struck first, scoring just under 10 minutes into the contest. Scoring the goal for the Lakers was Shane Bull, assisted by Connor Sleeth.

Oswego would receive a power play from a holding penalty on Elmira. The Lakers would get their second goal of the night on the power play. Scoring for the Lakers was Connor Sleeth, assisted by Matt McQuade.

Oswego came out strong in the second period, scoring their third goal of the evening only 19 seconds into play. Scoring for Oswego was Daniel Colabufo, assisted by Tommy Cahill.

A late penalty in the second period would give the Soaring Eagles a power play, which allowed them to score their first goal of the evening.
