WILLIMANTIC, CT. – The Oswego State Men's Basketball team traveled to Eastern Connecticut for their Tip-Off Tournament. The Men started off the tournament facing the Hobart Statesmen this evening. A dominant second half performance would lift the Lakers over Hobart.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Oswego would establish a 6 point lead late in the first half of play with the help of their solid defensive performance.

Hobart would come back and erase the lead, eventually getting a three point lead of their own with 2:42 left in the first.

Oswego would not be able to erase the deficit, allowing Hobart to hold a 30-25 lead going into halftime.

Kaleb Cook and Jeremiah Sparks would lead the Lakers with five points each. Sparks added five rebounds off the glass.

Oswego would come out in the second half and put on an impressive offensive performance, which pushed them past the Statesmen.

The Lakers would erase a nine-point second half deficit, and eventually lead by 16 points.

Oswego would shoot 50% from the field in the second half, converting 17 of 34 field goal attempts. Oswego would shoot 40% from 3pt range, hitting 6 of 15 3-pt field goal attempts.
