POTSDAM, N.Y. – The Oswego State Women's Hockey team traveled to Potsdam this evening to take on the Bears. The Lakers had a chance at the end to tie the game but fell short to the Bears.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Lakers received a power play almost halfway through the first period of play, they were unable to capitalize on the advantage.

The score would remain even through the first period although having chances on both sides.

Lexi Levy had 10 saves in the first period for Oswego.

The Bears would score their first goal of the evening shortly into the second period.

Potsdam would score their second goal of the evening late in the second period.

The Lakers would trail 2-0 going into the third period. Lexi Levy recorded 10 more saves in the second, bringing her total to 20.

Oswego would score their first goal on a powerplay early into the third period. Ashlyn McGrath would score unassisted.

Levy finished with 28 saves on the evening.
WHAT'S NEXT
The women will travel to Canton on Saturday, November 5th to take on the Kangaroos for their second conference matchup of the season.
