BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Men's Hockey topped off their regular season with a 3-0 shutout victory versus conference opponent Buffalo State, completing the season sweep. Alex DiCarlo and Ryan Bunka led the Lakers with two points each in the victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the opening faceoff, 15 total shots were exchanged from both teams within the first 9 minutes of play.
- At the 9:32 mark, DiCarlo and Bunka set up Travis Broughman for the Lakers first goal of the contest.
- Oswego would kill off a high-sticking penalty late in the first frame to keep the lead at 1-0.
- The 2nd period saw two Laker power-plays come and go, along with another Buffalo State man advantage that was held at bay to keep the score 1-0.
- Oswego continued their offensive pressure, putting up 26 shots but failing to crack the scoreboard in the period.
- The final frame was riddled with four Buffalo State penalties, which proved to be costly down the stretch.
- Despite putting up 23 shots, the Lakers were held scoreless for a majority of the third frame, as was Buffalo State behind clutch saves from Eric Green.
- At 18:03, a slashing and bench penalty would give Oswego a 5-on-3 advantage, allowing DiCarlo to pick up a goal of his own a minute later with assists from Bunka and Tommy Cahill.
