  • Senior Aleah Yaizzo came through with the RBI-double to put the Lakers up 1-0.
  • In the fifth, Oswego added a pair of runs on a walk from senior Brianna LoMonaco, singles from freshman Mattison Phinney and senior Zoe Mennig, and a double from Higgins.
  • Higgins allowed just two Yellowjackets to reach base in the contest and moves to 1-3 on the season.

  • Washington College kicked off the scoring with a run in the top of the first inning.
  • The Lakers answered right back in the bottom of the first when Higgins singled home LoMonaco and Yaizzo for the 2-1 lead.
  • In the top of the second, the Shorewomen recorded four hits to help them put up four runs and go up 5-2.
  • It became 6-2 on a single, stolen base, and base hit for Washington College in the fourth.
  • Oswego cut the deficit in half when Phinney started a two-out rally and came home on Mennig's dinger.
  • Higgins and graduate student Taylor DuBois put the tying runs aboard via a walk and single, but the Shorewomen held off the charge.
  • A double and pair of singles helped Washington College plate the final run in the sixth inning.

  • Phinney and Mennig both went 2-for-4 to lead the offense.
