POTSDAM, N.Y. – The Oswego State softball team paid a visit to Clarkson University to play in a doubleheader. The Clarkson pitching staff held the Lakers scoreless in both contests. Clarkson was able to win the first game 8-0 and the second 11-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1
- Clarkson opened up scoring in the first inning of the contest on a wild pitch.
- Clarkson extended their lead by four runs in the third inning, Clarkson managed to turn three hits into four runs; the Lakers trailed 5-0.
- In the fourth inning Clarkson added two runs to their lead to take a 7-0 lead.
- Clarkson closed out the game in the fifth inning scoring a run off of a single to left field to bring in a run.
Game 2
- Clarkson struck first after a single to left field brought in a run in the first inning.
- After a single was hit down center field Clarkson brought in two runs to extend their lead to 3-0 in the third inning.
- A wild pitch brought in a runner from third for Clarkson to take a 4-0 lead in the fourth inning.
- Clarkson ended the inning scoring seven more runs, pushing their lead to 11-0.

The Lakers take on SUNY Potsdam in a doubleheader in Potsdam, N.Y. The contests are set for 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday.
