ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Oswego State baseball team completed a series sweep against SUNY Oneonta. This contest had nothing short of dramatics as the Lakers pulled off a comeback win in extra innings. After trailing Oneonta most of the game, Oswego managed to tie the game in the ninth inning. Tishawn Featherstone's clutch three-run homer in the 10th inning gave them the well-deserved win 8-6.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the first two innings were scoreless, Oneonta opened up the scoring putting three runs on the board.
- In the fourth inning the Lakers' Ryan Weiss hit a solo home run to left field to bring them within two.
- Featherstone scored on a wild pitch in the same inning, Oswego trailed 3-2.
- Oneonta scored two more runs in the fifth inning to push their lead back to three runs.
- Oswego began to mount a late come back in the eighth and ninth inning.
- Weiss hit his second solo home run of the morning, making the score 5-3 in favor of Oneonta.
- In the ninth inning, Paul Tammaro singled to right center field to help bring in Brett Meyers for the score, the Lakers cut the Red Dragons lead to 5-4.
- After an error helped Ryan Enos reach first base, Tammaro was able to cross home plate and tie the game up 5-5 and push the contest to extra innings.
- Featherstone came up big hitting a three run homer in the top of the 10th inning to give the Lakers their first lead of the contest, 8-5.
- Oneonta scored a desperation run in the bottom of the 10th but it was not enough.
- Oswego wins in extra innings, 8-6.

- Weiss hit two solo home runs in the contest and had a team high three runs
- Featherstone (3) and Weiss (2) led the team in RBI's.
