OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Women's Field Hockey team took their fifth victory by shutout. This beats their start to last season with four shutouts to start the campaign. Nancy Pagliaroli had a five point game with two goals and an assist in the contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Green and Gold started off quick as Kaitlyn Jordan scored the Lakers' first goal, assisted by Pagliaroli.

With eight straight shots and four penalty corners, the Lakers broke through on their ninth consecutive shot off the stick of Kacie Simzer.

After Simzer's goal, the Lakers took seven more shots and Kaitlyn Mastracco scored on a penalty stroke to make it 3-0.

The Gators goalkeeper came up big at the end of the first quarter, saving a second penalty stroke off of the stick of Kaitlyn Ahle.

Taylin Bauer scored the home team's fourth goal at 16:55, Ahle assisted the tally.

With it all Lakers in this quarter, Oswego scored their fifth goal at the 24:49 mark, Pagliaroli scored her first of the contest and Ahle assisted.

In less than two minutes in the third quarter, the Lakers added their sixth and seventh goals of the game.

Pagliaroli scored her second of the contest and Kacie Simzer assisted.

The seventh goal was a Mastracco rocket from the point. The Lakers would go into the final frame up 7-0.

Three minutes into the fourth quarter, the Lakers' Bauer scored her second of the game, Ellie Kazel assisted the Lakers' final goal.
