BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Men's and Women's swimming & diving team competed in a tri-meet against Buffalo State and Medaille College, winning three out of four of their head-to-head matchups.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Lakers won 12 of the 24 races and both diving events.

Zachary Brown won three events; the Men's 200 Yard IM (2:06.10), the Men's 100 Yard Backstroke (where he finished over six seconds in front of second place with a time of 55.08), and his most dominant performance, the Men's 100 Yard Breaststroke, where he finished almost seven seconds in front of second place (59.80).

Emily Lotito won the Women's 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:53.33 and the Women's 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 12:02.35, a dominant 23 seconds faster than second place.

Jack Olsian won the Men's 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 23.25.

Jayna Laferriere won the Women's 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:06.34, nearly nine seconds quicker than the next finisher.

Matthew Seyse won the Men's 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 11:16.73.

Alexia Lemus won the Women's 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:09.23.

Lemus, Laferriere, Abby Hinman and Anna Baker won the Women's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:50.81.

Seyse, Olsian, Vincent Mullen and Alexander Jenks won the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:32.25.

Mullen won the Men's One Meter Dive with a final score of 143.05.

Jessica Pelkey won the Women's One Meter Dive with a final score of 156.90.
