OSWEGO, NY- The Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams traveled to Oneonta this afternoon to take on the Red Dragons for their first meet of the season. 
Zach Brown broke the Oneonta pool record in the Men's 100 breaststroke. 

THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Zach Brown placed first in and broke the Men's 100 breaststroke pool record with a time of 59.71 (.15 faster than the original). He also placed first in the 100 IM with a time of 55.96.
• Brown teamed up with Matt Dambra, Jake Sarnowski, and Jackson Vignona to take the Men's 200 Medley Relay with a winning time of 1:43.64. 
• The Women's team of Izzy Dague, Emily Lotito, Abby Hinman, and Alexia Lemus likewise took first in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:01.10. 
• First year Izzy Dague won both of her individual events. In the 200 freestyle her time was a 2:08.91 and for the 100 backstroke she went a 1:05.63. 
• Oswego swept the Women's 50 freestyle. Tying for first place with times of 27.27 were Aurora Jarvie and Lemus. Taking third was McKenna Briggs in 27.39. 
• With another sweep in the Women's 100 freestyle Jayna Laferriere took first (58.07), Briggs second (1:00.23), and Jarvie third (1:00.36). 
• Laferriere was also victorious in the 100 IM with a 1:08.65. 
• Lotito claimed the top spot with a time of 1:16.89 in the Women's 100 breaststroke.
• Claiming the final event of the night with a time of 1:47.65 in the Women's 200 free relay was Lemus, Maura Waite, Jarvie, and Laferriere.

With a short break, the Lakers will next travel to Clarkson University on November 4th with a start time of 1:00 PM.
