OSWEGO, N.Y. – Men's Basketball hosted Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the Max Ziel Tournament Championship looking to win their home tournament as well as move to 2-0 on the season. The Lakers stayed hot as they took home the victory and the championship by a score of 73-45.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lakers continued their strong start to the season thanks to hot shooting from beyond the three-point line in the first half going 6-13 from deep.
- Jeremiah Sparks hit four of those three-point shots in an impressive first half performance while Kaleb Cook added two more for the Lakers.
- At the end of the first half, the Lakers held a comfortable 37-20 lead over the visiting Engineers.
- The second half brought more of the same for the Lakers despite shooting more from the field than beyond the arch as the Lakers outscored RPI 36-25 in the half.
- The commanding 73-45 victory for the Lakers was led in large part by Jeremiah Sparks (17 pts), Cartier Bowman (14 pts), and Kaleb Cook (13 pts).
- Cartier Bowman completed the double-double by adding 12 rebounds to his tally on the day.

The Lakers will be back home again on Tuesday, 11/14 as they take on the Clarkson Golden Knights in a non-conference matchup starting at 7:30p.
