- Ahkee Anderson went 6-7 from the field, including a three pointer, to score 14 points in the first half.
- Other stat leaders at the half for the Lakers included Bowman, who had 10 rebounds and nine points in the half, and Jeremiah Sparks, who had eight points.
- The second half started out around even for both teams, with Brockport starting to slightly cut into the Laker lead.
- Brockport cut the lead to six with just over ten minutes remaining, prompting Oswego Coach Leone to call a timeout.
- Both teams continued to score back and forth, with Oswego maintaining the six-point lead over the next eight minutes.
- With less than two minutes remaining, Ahkee Anderson hit a big mid-range jumper from the right baseline to make it a 69-61 lead, which forced Brockport into a timeout.
- After Brockport failed to score at the other end coming out of the timeout, the Lakers enjoyed a long offensive possession with an offensive rebound turning into a slick Jeremiah Sparks stepback mid-range jumper to seal the win.
- From there it was a matter of intentional fouls for Brockport to try and regain possession, with Devin Green and Sparks hitting free throws off of Brockport misses at the other end.
