MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Oswego State Field Hockey team challenged SUNY Morrisville on their home field this afternoon. Strong win for the Lakers as the Mustangs were swept away by a landslide 12-0.

What a game! Tonight's matchup really heated up with the Lakers on the offense throughout the four quarters.

The Lakers led in offensive stats with 28 shots over the game and 12 penalty corners and 12 goals.

The Mustangs were backed into playing defense and were unable to make any shots for the contest, so begs the question, is it still a miss without the swing?

Kate McNally led the charge, scoring four of tonight's goals for the Lakers!

Ellie Kazel earned five points (2G, 3A) in just 17 minutes played in the contest.

Others earning points were; Nancy Pagliaroli (1A), Kaitlyn Jordan (1A), Erin Schaefer (1G), Kacie Simzer (2G, 1A).

Despite the Mustang's valiant efforts, it was clear from the end of the first quarter that Oswego was winning tonight's game, go Lakers!

Oswego scored three goals in each quarter keeping it even throughout.
WHAT'S NEXT
On Saturday, the Lakers embark on the second leg of their three part journey and will travel to Rochester to take on the Yellowjackets of U of R on September 23rd at 12:00pm and lastly, Utica University on September 27th at 7:00pm.
