OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Men's Soccer team went head to head with SUNY Brockport earlier today. Although a great game to watch with both sides contending, Brockport was able to pull one over on Oswego.

HOW IT HAPPENED

There were some heated exchanges in the first quarter as Brockport Scored followed by a Lakers goal by Kieran Gilroy with an assist by Jason Wuytack.

MVPs for time played was led by Laker's Andre Bourjolly and Kyle Hanner each spending 90 minutes embracing the storm.

With the first 45 ending with the Lakers down by one, there was a sense of urgency beginning in half two.

First half of the second period was a balance game with the Lakers keeping the Golden Eagles from scoring

Two yellow cards were assessed tonight, one from each side.

The second half was where the rough waters started with the Golden Eagles scoring two goals.

The Lakers were able to score again at 88 minutes made by Kieran Gilroy, but there was little time to make another move and the game ended with a 3-2 road victory for the Golden Eagles.

Next up, Lakers once again face off with their decades long historical arch-rival Plattsburgh State at the Cardinals home turf on Saturday, September 30th at 1:00 pm.
