OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Men's Soccer returned home today, tying the Hamilton Continentals 1-1 at the end of 90 minutes. Jason Wuytack scored the goal for the Lakers, making it his first of the year. Andre Bourjolly collected three total saves in the 90 total minutes he had played.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The first half was all Continentals as the Lakers were unable to get anything going on their offensive side of the ball.

Not even two minutes into the contest, Hamilton already had two corners and a shot.

At the 8:12 mark, the Continentals broke the tie.

Oswego got their first shot at the 17:40 mark of the contest, followed by another, both by newcomer Ian Husselbeck.

Hamilton had 12 shots to Oswego's two in the first half.

Daniel Mahany took it upon himself to get the first shot of the half.

Three minutes later, Wuytack tied the contest at one with a beautiful shot to the bottom left corner.

Oswego out shot the Continentals eight to five in the second half.

Liam Rothar and Ian Husselbeck led the Lakers in shots with two a piece.

The Lakers will keep the homestead rolling with their senior day on Saturday, September 9th against the St. John Fisher Cardinals at 2pm.
