FREDONIA, N.Y. – SUNY Oswego men's basketball was in Fredonia, NY Saturday afternoon looking to add to their SUNYAC win streak against their host the Blue Devils. The Lakers managed the Blue Devils, 83-64.
 
SUNY Oswego opened this game building a 20-13 lead in the first ten minutes of action. The Lakers were able to hold on to their lead for the majority of the first half due to their shooting from the field (48.6%). From the foul line, however, they shot only 55% while committing four turnovers. Jamal Achile and Ahkee Anderson both boosted the offense towards the end of the first giving the Lakers a 45-37 lead at the half.
 
It did not take long for the Lakers to open a ten-point lead in the second half off a smooth jumper from Jamal Achille. The hot shooting continued for SUNY Oswego in the second half where they also continued to out-rebound their host, the Blue Devils. Eleven different Lakers scored today with Ahkee Anderson leading the way scoring twenty-three points, his second game in a row with twenty or more points. Cartier Bowman also recorded his fourth double-double of the season with fourteen points and ten rebounds.

Final Score: Oswego 83 (14-1, 8-0 SUNYAC), Fredonia 64 (5-10, 2-6 SUNYAC)
