ROCHESTER, N.Y. – SUNY Oswego Field Hockey hit the road for Rochester, NY, on Wednesday for Nazareth College, where the Lakers took on the Golden Flyers. The Lakers ultimately fell to Nazareth, 2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Nazareth tested the Oswego defense for the entire first half. The Golden Flyers fired six shots at the Lakers while Oswego struggled to produce scoring opportunities. Oswego was awarded three corners in the first half, but they were unable to produce any scoring chances from them. Nazareth was able to secure a one-goal lead going into the halftime break.
The 2nd half was one-sided as Nazareth overtook the Lakers in time of possession. The Golden Flyers were able to register seven shots in the 2nd half to the Lakers zero. Nazareth was able to add an insurance goal late in the 3rd quarter to make the Golden Flyer lead 2-0. Despite the flurry of shots coming in the direction of goalkeeper
Sam Krautheim, she was able to save 11 of the 13 shots, good for an 84% save percentage.
