BINGHAMTON, NY – The SUNY Oswego women's tennis team faced their biggest challenge yet Friday evening when they took on the New Paltz Hawks in Binghamton, NY.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The New Paltz Hawks handed the Lakers their first loss of the season on Friday evening in Binghamton, New York. Oswego entered the match with a 11-0 record overall and a 3-0 SUNYAC record.
The doubles team of
Emily Lyga and
Kathryn Salamida suffered their first defeat of the season by a score of 6-1.
Leah Bell and
Emily DeLuca settled their match in a tie breaker but were handed their second loss of the season as well.
It was a clean sweep for the Hawks in singles matches which was the first time this season the Lakers were left win-less in a match.
