HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bears kept up with the Lakers for the first 5 minutes of the first half until a three from Ahkee Anderson and a layup from Cartier Bowman helped Oswego start to pull away. Potsdam didn't let the Lakers pull away that quickly however, they cut the lead down to two until Jeremiah Sparks and Kaleb Cook picked up the offense while the Laker's defense forced multiple turnovers. Towards the end of the first half, the Bears took advantage of the Laker defense slowing down and cut the deficit to 5 heading into the break.
It did not take long in the second half for Oswego to build a lead and hold it for the remainder of the half. Three different Lakers scored in double figures while ten different Lakers scored in the game. Ahkee Anderson was the leading scorer and went 4 for 4 from three. Cartier Bowman recorded a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Julien Crittendon added 14 points from the Bench for the Lakers in their 14th consecutive SUNYAC win.
