HOW IT HAPPENED

Giavanna White-Principio, who finished the game with a double-double, was the difference maker in the first quarter, recording 5 points and 5 rebounds in the first quarter alone, and helping her team take a commanding 16-5 lead into the second quarter.

The Red Dragons found their footing in the second, and were able to keep up with the Lakers, but
Macey DeOrdio and
Sydney Hoefs were able to keep the Lakers lead, as they connected on multiple occasions, and went into the half ahead 33-20.

The Red Dragons climbed back a bit in the third, as DeOrdio tried to keep the Lakers' lead, scoring 5 of the teams' 10 points in the quarter, and went into the fourth leading 43-31.

Shania Iglesias, who finished the day with _ points, scored 7 in the fourth quarter, dominating the paint, and ultimately closing out the game for the Lakers with yet another conference victory by a score of 59-43
