THE BASICS
Final Score:
Oswego 1 (10-6-3, 6-2-1 SUNYAC),
Potsdam 1 (4-11-4, 2-5-1 SUNYAC)
Location: Potsdam, NY

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers came out flying, with 13 different players putting 19 shots on net in the first, including Cam Symons recording 4 of them, and holding the Bears to just 3 shots. Despite this, the Lakers finished 0-2 on the power play, but the Potsdam defense held strong, and they entered the first intermission tied at 0 goals apiece.

The Lakers continued their high shot numbers, recording another 15 in the second, but still not finding the back of the net. The Bears, however, did find the back of the net, with just 58 seconds remaining in the period, taking a 1-0 lead going into the third.
The Lakers once again out shot the Bears in the third, but this time they were able to find the net, as Nico Paone netted the game-tying goal with 10 minutes left to play in the third. The third period ended 1-1.

In overtime, neither team was able to capitalize on opportunities, as it went to a shootout.

Connor Gatto went first for the Lakers but was unable to get past the goaltender.

Brandon Milberg was unable to stop Potsdam's first shot, as they took a 1-0 lead.

Ryan Burke lost the puck on his second shot, as the Lakers had their backs against the wall, but Milberg came up with a huge save, keeping the game alive.

It wasn't enough, as Matt McQuade couldn't sneak one past the goalie, and the Lakers left with a 1-1 tie, and a shootout loss.

WHAT'S NEXT?
The Lakers will be back in action tomorrow, in Plattsburgh, NY, where they will take on the Cardinals.
