HOW IT HAPPENED
It was a slow start for the Lakers today when Stevens jumped out to a 12-0 lead in the first three minutes of play.
Billy Reyes ended the drought for the Lakers with a jumper followed by another jumper from
Sean Edwards as the Lakers tried to dig into the deficit. Oswego got as close as 4 points later in the first half, but the Ducks offense proved to be overwhelming. The Lakers were in a 14-point hole (44-30) heading into half time.\
The Lakers started the second half with some energy when
Cole Kattan and
Xavier Allen knocked down back-to-back jumpers. Fouls and turnovers began to plague Oswego and Stevens' lead ballooned as high as 25 points. No matter what the Lakers had ready for the Ducks, they were prepared. Stevens cruised to a victory in this consolation contest. Oswego was led offensively by freshman
Deacon Judd who had 16 points and 4 rebounds.
Congratulations to
Cole Kattan, a graduate student for the Lakers who scored his 1000
th career point.

th to take on the defending SUNYAC Playoff Champion, the SUNY New Paltz Hawks. Tip-off is at 7:30 PM.
