MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - The Oswego Women's Soccer team traveled to SUNY Morrisville to take on the Mustangs in their second road SUNYAC game this season. After a dominant home win against SUNY Canton, the Lakers built on their offensive success from the last game, scoring 9 goals against the Mustangs, with 7 goals coming from the bench.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers began their strong offensive performance with a goal from Senior
Courtney Key just over four minutes into the game, followed by a goal by Junior
Kyla Sustad two and a half minutes later. Oswego continued to find the net scoring three more goals before halftime (Winkler, Praxl, Dimitrijevski) taking a 5-1 lead at the half.
Early into the second half, Junior
Kayla Baca started off strong scoring her first goal of the season 11 minutes in off an assist from SeniorÂ
Nicolette Joannou. Sophomore
Sabrina Schmitt scored 2 quick goals in the second half extending the Laker lead to 8-1. Oswego would finish with a 9-3 victory over the Mustangs extending their win streak in SUNYAC play to 2 games. The final goal from the Lakers came from the Freshman
Angelise Acosta 27 minutes into the second half.
Oswego finished with 7 goals off the bench and outshot the Mustangs 32-4. In goal, the Lakers earned a collective 3 total saves.
