Morrisville, NY. - The Oswego State men's basketball team earned its first SUNYAC victory of the season on Saturday afternoon, powering past SUNY Morrisville with a dominant offensive performance in a 91–69 road win.

How it Happened
The Lakers started the contest off strong offensively, starting the game off on a 20–5 run in the first six minutes after Steven Bradley and Gary McLane, who each knocked down a pair of early threes and back-to-back buckets from Deacon Judd to keep the momentum rolling. Oswego continued to push the pace as Chris Whyte-Luciano scored on consecutive possessions to extend the lead to 25–11. Oswego later strung together a 7–0 run, putting the Lakers up 44–23 late into the half. The Lakers entered halftime with a commanding 21-point lead.
Bradley led the way with 13 points on three made 3 pointers, while McLane added 11 points with three triples of his own. As a team, Oswego shot an impressive 57% from the field and 56% from three in the opening half.
Morrisville came out aggressively after the break, chipping away at the deficit, but the Lakers continued to answer on the offensive end. Both teams traded baskets throughout the half. With just under two minutes remaining, Freddie Fowler delivered a decisive three-point play, pushing the Lakers back up by 18. Moments later, Sophomore Forward Jorel Monroe sealed the victory with a powerful dunk to extend the lead to 20.
Bradley finished the afternoon with a game-high 24 points, including six three-pointers. Fowler added 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting, while Oswego's depth proved crucial—scoring 32 bench points, outrebounding Morrisville 43–32, and knocking down 13 threes as a team.

The Lakers travel to Tennessee on December 29th to take on St. Mary's College of Maryland in their first matchup in the Music City Classic.
