MYRTLE BEACH, S.C - The Lakers continued their road trip in Myrtle Beach on Tuesday as they won one in walk off fashion, lost one in walk off fashion and lost one to St. Josephs.
GAME 1:
THE BASICS
Oswego 3 (1-2, 0-0 SUNYAC)
St. Joseph's 8 (5-2, 2-0 Skyline)
Myrtle Beach, SC
HOW IT HAPPENED
- St. Josephs would get the scoring started early as an error and a passed ball by Oswego would allow 2 unearned runs to come in for the Golden Eagles.
- Oswego would also pick up a run as Mackenzie Carlson ripped an RBI single through the left side and it would bring home Grace Dipalma.
- The game went stagnant until the Golden Eagles put up another 2 run inning in the 4th. 2 RBI singles would get that done and St. Josephs was up 4-1.
- The 6th and the 7th inning would go exactly the same for the Golden Eagles. 2 runs crossed home plate for them, and they were absolutely running away with this one.
- Lillian Haggerty would pick up an RBI 2-bagger and the comeback was on in the top of the 7th.
- Haggerty would then score on a throwing error by St. Josephs. It was now 8-3.
- The Lakers would ultimately leave 2 on base and not be able to complete the comeback, although close. The Golden Eagles were victorious, 8-3.

Oswego 4 (2-2, 0-0 SUNYAC)
Stevenson 3 (8-1, 0-0 MAC)
Myrtle Beach, SC
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Rebecca Henry for Stevenson would strike first, sending a bullet into center field to give the Mustangs a 1-0 lead in the first.
- Haggerty would double and steal a bag to be on third. Grace Dipalma would stay hot and knock her in to tie things up in the first inning of play. Dipalma would then score on a Gianna DeGonza single.
- It would be a pitching duel for the next several innings. Although Oswego picked up 4 more hits then Stevenson up until the 6th inning, the score would remain 2-1.
- The 7th was a different story though. Tessa Boswell for the Mustangs would double and send home the tying run. After a single to advance Boswell to third, a sacrifice fly by McKenzie Tobler would let Boswell score and the Mustangs took the lead 3-2.
- Oswego down 1 had a chance to walk this one off. Walk it off, they did. A single by Grace Dipalma, a passed ball advanced her to 2nd, a walk from Mackenzie Carlson, DeGonza would single, and the bases were juiced.
