Neither team scored in the second, but in the top of the third, Clarkson hit a solo homer, to extend their lead to 4-1. Chelsea Sellars came in after the homer, looking to relieve Milazzo, but another RBI double in the third made it 5-1 in favor of Clarkson.

Grace DiPalma stole home in the bottom of the third, making it 5-2, but Clarkson responded in the fourth with a grand slam, as well another run on an error, extending their lead to 10-2, and ultimately eliminating Oswego's chances of making a comeback.

Clarkson would score three more runs in the fifth, off of a wild pitch, and a couple of errors, extending their lead even further, making it 13-2, and closing out game one of the double-header.

Game 2
In game two of the double header,The Lakers looked to respond. Maria Lutz got the start on the mound, giving up one run in the first inning. Morgan Phinney hit a sac-fly immediately following, This allowed for Kira Wright to tag up and tie up the game at 1 run a piece. Then, Tahlia Gerardi doubled to left field, scoring Lillian Haggerty, and giving the Lakers a 2-1 lead going into the second inning.
