HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers were able to put up 3 quick goals from the likes of Elston and O'Connor due to well-placed assists from
Logan Prescott and
Hayden Coney. The Hawks were able to cut into the lead as they responded with two quick goals, but their momentum came to a screeching halt as the Lakers scored five more unanswered goals to finish the half. The Lakers led by a score of 8-2 at halftime.
In the start of the 2nd half, both teams played a tough and evenly fought quarter as both teams were able to score 2 goals apiece. The Laker goals came from
Nate Ham and
Corey O'Connor. To end the game, Oswego's defense continued to stay stout as they cruised to a 11-6 victory, limiting many offensive opportunities from the Hawk's offense.
