OSWEGO, N.Y. – Oswego Women's lacrosse traveled to Buffalo, NY, to take on the Bengals in a SUNYAC matchup. The fast-paced Oswego offense was able to light up the scoreboard 17 times in a dominant 17-8 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Oswego State Lakers traveled west to Buffalo, NY, to play the Buffalo State Bengals in the last conference matchup of the season. The Lakers wasted no time as they jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the 1st quarter.
Alexis Hill was responsible for two of those goals, both unassisted. The 2nd quarter saw a lot of the same recipe for Oswego as they proceeded to score three opening goals. The Laker lead was extended to 7-1, resulting in a timeout by the Bengals in an attempt to stop the bleeding. Buffalo State was able to score one more goal going into the halftime break, dropping the deficit to five goals.
At the start of the third quarter,
Alexis Hill was able to net her third goal of the day, securing a hat trick. In an eventful quarter that saw a lot of offense, a combined 11 goals were scored, with the Lakers holding a steady 14-6 lead. As the 4th quarter approached, the Lakers decided to possess the ball for longer periods of time in an attempt to drain the clock, as they held a comfortable lead. WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers secured the 1 seed in the SUNYAC tournament with a perfect 9-0 conference record. They will await the completion of the 1st round to find out their home matchup.
