How it Happened
The Lakers started off their run in the SUNYAC Tournament strong, securing their first point of the night by winning the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches. The No. 2 duo of
Isabella Eason and
Kate Hayes managed to hold Plattsburgh to just 1 game won while the No. 3 duo of
Avery Borman and
Aubrey Salati managed to edge out a gritty 6-4 set win.

The highlight for singles play during Oswego's semifinals round came at the No. 3 spot, with

Kate Hayes, was pushed by her opponent to a 6-6 tie in her first set, but was able to take the victory in the tiebreaker. Her second set, along with No. 1
Avery Borman's and No. 2
Leah Bell's sets, were left unfinished as the women's tennis team cemented their place in the finals of the tournament with victories at the No. 4 and No. 6 matches.
