HOW IT HAPPENED
Oswego weathered a back-and-forth battle that featured four ties and three lead changes before forcing overtime on a clutch late three-pointer. From there, the Lakers took control at the free-throw line, shooting 15-for-16 in the extra period to pull away.
Arthur Foster led the charge with a game-high 24 points and 13 rebounds, consistently attacking the paint and drawing contact.
Deacon Judd added 23 points and nine boards, while
Jayson McGhee chipped in 22 points, including a key three late in regulation that helped keep Oswego within striking distance.
Gary McLane facilitated the offense with five assists and sealed the game by knocking down critical free throws in the final seconds of overtime.
Morrisville pushed Oswego throughout the night, shooting nearly 50 percent from the floor and scoring 60 points in the paint. The Mustangs carried momentum late in regulation, but Oswego's defensive pressure and rebounding — holding a 54–40 edge on the glass — proved decisive.
