Â
It wasn't until the bottom of the fourth that Oswego would finally strike, as

Delany Wiley followed suit with an RBI-double to center field, driving home
Wright, and making it 1-0 Oswego through 4.

Budzinski would shut it down with a strikeout to end the inning, and stop the bleeding.
Â
Plattsburgh's pitching crumbled in the bottom of the fifth, and four straight walked batters would give a go-ahead run to
Emma Donnelly, putting Oswego back in the lead by a score of 2-1.
Â
The lead wouldn't last long however, as an RBI-triple from the Cardinals would tie things back up at two runs a piece.
Â
In the bottom of the sixth, the Lakers came to play, as
Ryin Perico reached first on an error.
Lillian Haggerty followed up with a single to shortstop, advancing
Perico to second.

Â
Game 2
Â
The Cardinals came into this one looking for revenge, and wasted no time getting on the board. Plattsburgh scored a quick two runs in the first off of a plethora of hits. They doubled down in the second, scoring two more runs, and making it a 4-0 game through the first two innings.
Â
Oswego would respond with a seven-run second inning. After loading the bases with one out,
Ava Margosian reached first on an error, allowing both
Grace DiPalma and
Ryin Perico to score unearned runs.

Tahlia Gerardi, and
Kira Wright would single to center field, scoring
Margosian and tying things up at four a piece.

Kira Wright and
Ava Margosian.
Ryin Perico would add on one more run with an RBI-double, making it 7-4 through two innings.
Â
Plattsburgh would get one back in the third, but Oswego would respond with two more runs of their own, this time from an RBI-triple by
Tahlia Gerardi, and a groundout from
Margosian to score
Gerardi.
Â
A Plattsburgh home run in the fourth would make it 9-7, with Oswego still holding onto the lead.
Â
