Lakers Coast Past Plattsburgh for another SUNYAC Win

Plattsburgh, NY - The Oswego Laker's women's lacrosse team traveled to Plattsburgh, NY on Saturday afternoon to take on the SUNY Plattsburgh Cardinals in a SUNYAC matchup. 
 
Basics
Oswego: 16 (9-4, 6-0 SUNYAC)
Plattsburgh: 1 (2-10, 0-6 SUNYAC)

How it Happened 
The game started off with Alexis Hill getting the first draw control of the game. The game went back and forth with offensive possessions and defensive stops from both teams. Until Abigail Dicks got the Lakers on the board first with a goal. The Lakers proceeded to go on a 4 goal scoring streak with goals from Cassidy Croce, Hill, Cecilia Witherel, and Milena Vassallo making it 5-0 Lakers. The Cardinals then got on the board with a goal on a free position shot making it 5-1 to end the 1st. 
 
Oswego kept their foot on the gas to start the 2nd. Croce opened up the scoring in the 2nd making it 6-1. The Lakers went on another scoring streak adding 3 more. Two goals from Hill and one from Croce on a man-up opportunity made it 9-1 to end the 2nd. 
 
It was all Oswego to open up the 2nd half. Addison Costello put the Lakers on the board first with a man-up goal to make it 10-1. Witherel quickly followed with a man-up goal of her own making it 11-1. The Lakers continued pouring on goals going on another 3 goal scoring run. Goals from Croce, Hill, and Madison Wood put the Lakers up 14-1 to end the 3rd. 
 
The 4th quarter started and still the Lakers wouldn't quit putting goals on the board. A free position goal from Aubri Greene opened up the scoring making it 15-1. While Ava Snyder added another one on a free position shot making it 16-1 Lakers. This was deemed a huge conference win for the Lakers keeping them undefeated in the SUNYAC with a record of 6-0.
 
What's Next 
The Lakers will be back in action at home Wednesday April 15th at 4:00 PM against SUNYAC opponent Potsdam.
