How it Happened
Oswego State set the tone for the evening with dominant doubles play performances. The Lakers were able to win the first point with the No. 1 and No. 2 matches being won, each going 6-1, with a 6-0 sweep coming from duo Hannah Freed and Alexis Christian.
 
The Lakers continued to hold the upper hand in singles play, winning all 6 matches in straight sets. Oswego only ever dropped 1 round in each set in the  No.1, No. 5, and No. 6 matches. Aubrey Salati and Emery O'Brien faced stiffer competition in the No. 3 and No. 4 matches, but still secured the victory. The highlight in singles play came at No. 2 in the lineup, with a sweep from Leah Bell.

The Lakers will head to Brockport and face off against the Golden Eagles Saturday, September 12th at 1:00 PM.
