Bob Shattell

Bob Shattell joined the Oswego State Lakers ahead of the 2022–23 season, bringing extensive experience in player development, skill training, and team operations. Prior to Oswego, he spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Morrisville State and eight seasons as head coach at Le Moyne College, his alma mater, where he honed his skills in recruiting, game planning, and athlete development.

Shattell has also been instrumental in developing young talent through the West Genesee Wildcat hockey program, helping lead teams to multiple championships and fostering a winning culture. He is the founder of Salt City Prospects, a Syracuse-based player development organization that works throughout the Northeast by providing specialized training for youth and collegiate athletes, often collaborating with Oswego staff and other regional NCAA and pro coaching talent.

At Oswego, Shattell focuses on one-on-one skill development, video analysis, and personalized improvement plans, helping student-athletes reach their full potential on and off the ice.
