Mike Gray enters his 19th season with the Oswego State men’s ice hockey program as the team’s video coordinator. In this role, he oversees in-game video analysis, creates pre-game motivational presentations, and supports player development in leadership and team culture, all of which play a key role in the Lakers’ preparation and performance on the ice.
Prior to his time with the Lakers, Gray supplied two decades of grassroots coaching experience to the Oswego Minor Hockey Association, guiding youth players through skill development and game fundamentals.He further contributed six impactful seasons with the Oswego High School boys hockey team as an assistant coach, laying a strong foundation for his transition to the college coaching ranks.
Aside from his coaching roles, Gray works full-time as the Radiation Protection Operations Lead at Constellation Energy, showcasing his ability to balance a demanding professional career with dedicated volunteer service.
Mike is a lifelong resident of Oswego, New York, and keeps his roots close—with three children: Kailyn, Tyler, and Caroline and grandchildren Emory, Tia, and Jack.
