Junior women's basketball forward Kayla Ryan (Schaghticoke, N.Y.) became the ninth player in Oswego State women's basketball history to reach 1,000 career points. Ryan reached the mark on Tuesday night when she scored 12 points in a loss to New Paltz.

The No. 6-seed Lakers start post-season play on Tuesday when they travel to New Paltz for a re-match against the Hawks at 7 p.m.
