Oswego, N.Y. – Eric Hamilton of the men’s baseball team has been named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 23, 2014.
Oswego State men’s baseball traveled to Florida for spring break for a ten game series against seven different teams. Freshman Eric Hamilton played a crucial role both offensively and defensively for the Lakers.
On the week, Hamilton went 8-for-20. Of these eight hits, Hamilton had five RBI, one triple and scored six runs. The Liverpool native added a stolen base throughout the week as well. He finished the week with a .409 on base percentage and slugging percentage of .500.
Hamilton played third base, second base and caught for the week-long series where he had zero errors at either position.
