Freshman pitcher Jessica Palmitesso threw a no-hitter in a 9-0 decision in five innings against New Paltz on Sunday afternoon.  Heading into the contest, the Hawks were hitting .355 as a team on the year, but the team average dropped to .342 following the contest.  It is the first no-hitter thrown by an Oswego pitcher since 2002 and the first shutout for the Lakers since March 12, 2009 when they defeated Wheelock College, 7-0.

Palmitesso was also named SUNYAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.
