Oswego State Athletics

Pasha Rusakov of the Oswego State Men’s Swimming and Diving team has been named Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 27, 2013.

In the Lakers first meet of the 2013-2014 season, the freshman took first place in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 49.65 seconds.  Rusakov took second place in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 22.63 seconds.

Against Oneonta in Oswego’s second meet of the week, Rusakov helped the Lakers relay team to a first place finish with a time of 1:41.70 with an individual split time of 21.82 seconds.  Rusakov also came in first place in the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard freestyle with times of 22.43 and 49.76 respectively.

Oswego is back in action at 2 p.m. on Saturday for a non-conference dual meet against Wells.
