OSWEGO, N.Y. - Rachel Ruggaber has won Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on September 21, 2014.

Ruggaber led the team in digs this weekend at the Geneseo Tournament, averaging 24 per match.

The Liverpool native also tied her career-high with 32 digs against SUNY Canton in only a four-game match.

To go along with her defense, Ruggaber served four aces throughout a weekend where the Lakers went 2-2.

The squad takes to the court again this weekend at home for SUNYAC pool play. Its first match will be at 5 p.m. on Friday against Brockport.
