OSWEGO, N.Y. - Spencer Thorn of the men's tennis team had been named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on March 29, 2015.

Thorn won both his singles and doubles matches in the teams 3-6 loss to St. John Fisher on Thursday.

In his doubles match, Thorn and Timothy Van Hine dominated their cardinal opponents, capturing an 8-1 victory at third. Thorn was able to use the momentum gained in doubles and convert that into a 7-5, 6-2 win at fourth singles.

Men's tennis will be back in action at 4 p.m. on Wednesday as it heads to Alfred University to take on the Saxons.
